• Reflection?
• As I sit here thinking back over the days work put in at another wonderful Car Dudes meeting; I can't think of anything I would rather have spent the day doing. You may ask, "What makes working on cars so special?"; for the answer to that question you have to look deeper than just the physical repairing of the cars.

As the morning started, it was a little cool, but not to bad. I had concerns if we would have enough cars to repair to keep the "Dudes (Dudettes)" busy. I also had concerns that the rain would hold off long enough for us to repair the 4 cars that were on the agenda. With that being said, the 4 cars turned into 9 and the rain started about the time we had several of them torn apart outside. I know, everyone is laughing about now - but this is where things started really getting cool.

Sometimes we loose focus on what we are doing and God always has a way of letting us know what His plans are. Today was special and if you were part of the group working today - God showed up in a big way. We got to see him in all his glory lighting up the heart of a newfound friend and rekindling the flame inside me. Who would have thought that an oil change can make someone see that God is still there and He still Loves You.

At the end of the day; here is the tally of the repairs:

Replaced an idler pulley on a Trailblazer.
Replaced front and rear brakes on an Impala.
 Replaced front brakes on a Malibu Classic.
Replaced both CV axles on a Pontiac Grand Prix.
Replaced a heater valve on a Ford Ranger.
Replaced a headlight on a Tahoe.
Replaced a thermostat on a Honda Odyssey.
Checked codes on a Pontiac Bonneville.
Changed oil in a Pontiac Transporter van.
